Announcement: Where will Jollibee Canada open next?

In lieu of the opening of the first Jollibee in Canada, speculations about where the next will open are going around. Jollibee on Ellice Ave. is the 35th branch in North America. However, we all know that one store will definitely not be enough to cater all the Filipinos, not to mention foreign fans of Jollibee, across the country. The big question is “Where will Jollibee open next?”

As announced at the press day earlier today, there will be two branches in Winnipeg, one on Ellice Ave. and one on McPhillips. There will also be two branches in Ontario, one in Missasauga and the other will be in Scarborough. It was also confirmed that there will be a Jollibee to open in Edmonton Mall or across the mall, the biggest mall in Canada. The Max’s Restaurant in the said city has always been full and with lines waiting outside. Will Jollibee be the next go-to place there? We know that’s for sure!

If you want to keep track, opening of the branches will happen in this order:
1. 1406 Ellice Ave., Winnipeg (December 15, 2016)
2. McPhillips St., Winnipeg (opening in Spring 2017)
3. Missasauga, Ontario Spring 2017 including Seafood City
4. Scarborough Ontario (opening in 2017)
5. Edmonton, Alberta (opening in 2017)

If you have been checking Canadian job websites recently, you may have seen job posts for Jollibee in various locations. They have just started hiring for a Restaurant Manager position in Edmonton. Earlier, recruitment for Winnipeg, Scarborough and Mississauga have also begun. You’ll be happy to know that Visual, Medical and Dental benefits will be provided. Whether you are looking for a job with Jollibee or you are just wanting to have a taste of your Jollibee favorites, Pinoys in Canada can rejoice. We will be having more Jollibee soon. As for the other big cities with huge Pinoy communities like Vancouver and Montreal, better watch out, better not cry. You might get one near your area in the near future!
