Canada Child Benefit (CCB) will start in July 2016 and replacing the Universal Child Care Benefit (UCCB), Canada Child Tax Benefit (CCTB) and National Child Benefit and Supplement (NCBS). So, how much this new program will give families with children each month?
Here are some illustrations:
A family with $30,000 income and one child under six would get $6400.00 annually or $533.00 a month.
A family with $125,000 income and with two children between the ages of six and 17 would get $2950.00 annually or $246.00 a month.
A family with $65,000 income and with 2 children under 6 and 2 children between the ages six and 17 would get $18,000.00 annually or $1500.00 a month.
A family with$90,000 income and with 1 child under 6 and 1 child between the ages 6 and 17 would get $5,875.00 annually or $490.00 a month.
Remember that Prime Minister Justin Trudeau said on his video on #Budget2016 that CCB is tax-free.
