British Council created the free online course and focuses on the IELTS test. It is called – Understanding IELTS: Techniques for English Language Tests. It focuses on each stage of the IELTS test — reading, writing, speaking and listening. The program offers familiarity with all the parts of the test. There are some helpful tips that will be shared to achieve your IELTS scores. And you will have an opportunity to have your written and spoken English assessed by other learners.

In my own experience way back in the Philippines, I went to a review center and paid tons. It was like that I am back to school in English Major for 6 months.
