Canadian Officials from Manitoba went to the Philippines last month and held a successful Free Immigration Workshop to people around there. MP Kevin Lamoureux (Member of Parliament for Winnipeg North) and MLA Cindy Lamoureux (Member of the Legislative Assembly of Manitoba for the riding Burrows) are both passionate in advocating immigrant rights.  The workshop focused on discussing the different ways on how people can come to Canada thru Provincial Nominee Program (PNP), Temporary Foreign Worker (TFW), International Student Visa and Tourist Visa. The seminar is free of charge and they also opened it to walk-ins (no registration required). It was held at Mabuhay Manor Hotel and in some towns of the Philippines like Cavite, Rizal, Bulacan and Nueva Ecija.

As a Filipino, it is an honor to have them there and proud to let them witness the beauty of our home country. The simplicity of life in the province, the congested and yet happy Manila, the warmth and hospitality of the Filipino people are one of the trademarks of our “Inang Bayan (Motherland).” Thank you, Kevin and Cindy, for visiting our country, I am sure that you enjoyed your stay there.

Here are some of the Highlights from their trip in the Philippines:
