On November 30, 2014, changes to the Live-in Caregiver program were launched by Citizenship and Immigration Canada. Most notable was dropping off the requirement of living with the employer and providing two new pathways in applying for permanent residence for caregivers.
As on overview, I have provided a general comparative chart of the three programs. I have noticed that caregivers applying for their permanent residence are still confused which route to take.
