Update: 2nd Branch is now open @ UN Square Mall, San Marcelino Street Corner United Nations Avenue, Ermita, Manila. No need to travel all the way to BGC. You can have it now in the morning since it doesn’t follow mall hours unlike BGC.
Opening hours: 6am to 10pm
With the first three stores already announced before the opening of the first store, you may now expect more Tim Hortons stores to open in Manila. Another 8 stores will be opening this year according to TH Coffee Services Philippines Corp. President and CEO, Enrique Yap Jr. He added that this is part of their plan to expand its presence in the country with over 100 outlets over the next twenty years.
“We believe in the economy of the country, and so we’re here to spread our wings and reach out to as many neighborhoods as we can,” Yap said. “We know Filipinos love coffee and various baked goods. We realized Tim Hortons only sources the best coffee. And we’re confident Filipinos will love our coffee, products and services,” he added.
As the next store will be opening this month, it has been confirmed that it will be the following:
1. UN Square branch in Ermita, Manila.
2. Net Quad Building in Bonifacio Global City (BGC)
3. Venice Grand Canal in McKinley Hills in Taguig;
4. Eastwood, Quezon City;
5. M Building in Bluebay, Pasay City;
6. BF Homes, Parañaque City; and
7-8. The Link and Insular Life Building in Makati City.
These new locations are said to open sometime between May and June this year.
If we base it on the turn out of the first store, TH will definitely fit right in wherever it may be in Manila. Our kababayans are already loving the Double-Double and Timbits. In addition to the food offerings, the ambiance are something Pinoys are enjoying from TH as its first store is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Timmys will be a staple soon enough as it is here in Canada.
