Lucky Neepawa Resident Wins Daily Grand Bonus Draw $250k

The Daily Grand draw is one of the lotto games offered by the Western Canada Lottery Corporation. There are many chances of winning and different prizes depending on your luck; from a free play, $100,000 to $1,000 a day for life!

Emily Bernardino, a Neepawa resident,  got the surprise of her life when she scanned her ticket for the September 19 DAILY GRAND draw and saw that she had won $250,000!

Bernardino’s $4 quick-pick ticket had all five numbers on one of the DAILY GRAND Bonus Draws. The Bonus Draws occur a few times each year. Players get extra chances to win $25,000 a Year for Life or $500,000! She and another player from Quebec had the same numbers so they split the $500,000 prize.

Bernardino happily shared plans for her winnings, “I would like to pay off debt and help my family in the Philippines. It will be nice to have money in the bank.”

The lucky ticket was purchased at Harris Pharmacy, located at 424 Mountain Avenue in Neepawa. The winning numbers were 22, 37, 39, 41 and 44.
