As much as our OFWs would like to fulfill their responsibilities and requirements with the Philippine government, it is difficult when there are a lot of requirements which are time consuming. Securing an Overseas Employment Certificate (OEC) is one example that OFWs have to do every time they go back home for a vacation.

Recently, President Rodrigo Duterte has given his conditional approval to the proposed all-in-one card system for OFWs. If one can recall, before this happened, the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) had created a one-stop service center for OFWs. Because President Duterte aims to streamline government processes, through this project, they will take a step further in making it easier for OFWs to avail of government services while in the Philippines.
