Pinoy Charged with Sexual Assault of Minors in Toronto

William Christopher Claveria, 32-year-old Filipino, has been identified in Toronto to face multiple charges for allegedly luring at least 3 minors at two Filipino churches over the past year, recording his sexual assaults on them and posting them on Facebook. Some of the comments on his videos stated that he was disgusting and others asked why he wouldn’t just stick to watching normal pornography like every other person does from sites like TubeV Sex and more.

According to the Toronto Police, their investigations began in March when Facebook contacted American law enforcement officials with information suggesting someone was sharing media of the sexual abuse of children using their service. The Americans then contacted the RCMP, who then notified the Toronto police.

Claveria’s house in Bathurst Street and Sheppard Avenue West area was visited by the Police with a search warrant on June 12. They seized a number of devices which allegedly contained videos of a man sexually abusing victims who are pre-pubescent.

Three of the victims have been identified and the locations have been discovered to be the Word and Life Christian Assembly on Coldstream Avenue and the Jesus Reigns Forever International Ministry on Finch Avenue West. Pastors at each church have been notified and the other victims are still under review for identification.

Claveria was arrested and charged with six counts of making child pornography; five counts each of sexual assault and sexual interference; two counts each of possession of child pornography and access of child pornography; and one count of distributing child pornography and voyeurism.
