Pinoy in Edmonton Win $1M Lotto Jackpot

Once the main Lotto Max jackpot reaches $50 million, additional $1 million Maxmillions prizes will also be offered in the draws. Joselito Tremocha just became a millionaire after winning one of the $1-million  Maxmillion prizes last September 28.

Joselito remembers scanning his ticket at a self-checker and seeing a lot of zeros. He had to take his ticket to the store clerk just to confirm. He then raced off to tell his wife when he learned he’d just won a $1-million Lotto Max jackpot.

He was so excited, he left his winning ticket at the store.

“When the store clerk told me I won a million dollars it made me jump,” Joselito said in a statement. “I was so shocked and really wanted to get home to tell my wife, so I just left the store.

I was already driving down the street when realized I left a million-dollar ticket at the store.”

When asked how he will be spending his winnings, he humbly said that him and his wife have always wanted to take their daughter to Disney World and just have a family vacation.

Joselito bought his winning ticket at the 7-Eleven at 22305 Highway 16 East when he was on his way to Ardrossan.
